Hamilton comes thru!!!!!! 2 in a row for Rangers

Josh Hamilton must have really needed the day off. Hamilton’s 3-run shot in the 3rd helped the Rangers inch a little closer to the AL West leading Angels, by beating the Chicago White Sox 6-to 1 in Chi-Town. With most of the pitching staff on the DL, The Rangers are ok with pitching for defense instead of strikeouts, as Scott Feldman went 6 solid innings giving up 1 earned run and striking out 1. The story though is of course the feel good story of the year Josh “MVP” Hamilton. Not to be forgotten Hank Blaylock hit a 2-run blast in the 5th to pretty much seal the deal for the Rangers. The Win puts the Rangers 8.5 games behind the Angels, but ahead of the Oakland A’s. Now the Rangers need to keep up the streak and hope for a couple of bumps from the Angels.
