Yankees Vs. Twins-Preview !!!

The New York Yankees is on a roll. The Yankees have swept the Oakland A’S at home and now they’ve the surpising Minnesota Twins come into town. The Twins who now come in with a record of 55-43 and sit only a half game out of first place in the A.L.Central. Will now come into Yankee Stadium for a big time battle this week. Here are the top 5 things to look for in this series.

5. The Twins coming into Yankee Stadium. The Twins have not played bad this season on the road they’re 3 games under.500. In order for the Twins to win the A.L.Central they keep being competive on the road.

4. The Yankees eventhough they swept the Twins. Must someway produce more runs. The Yankees scored 2 runs today,4 runs on Saturday and in the begining of the series had there biggest out put of scoring runs with 7. The bronx bombers who picthing is suspect at best. Must provide more runs, Robinson Cano, Jorge Pasda etc.

3. Small is the best way to describe the way the Twins produce runs. Look for the Twins to be aggressive on the bases. Carlos Gomez who has 21 bases this season and Delmon Young who has 11 the Twins will try to make a single into a double.

2. To help stop the Twins from stealing look for the Yankees to have Jose Molina to try to keep the Twins from being aggressive on the base pads. Moliana has thrown out nearly 50 percent of the runners who try to steal a base on him. Molina threw out a runner today to end the game against the A’S.

1. Can the young Twins handle the pressure of going into Yankee Stadium and beat this team It’s now the second half and the Yankees with the Rays losing and the Red Sox getting swept now smell blood. The experince of Jeter,Rivera and Posada the Yankees see now that they’re only 4.5 games out of first place.
