Europe or NCAA?

The loophole has been exposed as Brandon Jennings has decided to skip college basketball altogether and go straight to Europe or Isreal to play professionally for a year before he enters the NBA draft next year. This decision is based off the fact that Jennings a talented player from California who went to the powerhouse OakHill Academy in Virginia decided on Arizona as his college choice but has failed to meet NCAA requirements to participate this season. Jennings withdrew his name from Arizona and began looking overseas’ for his next move.
Will this lead to an end of players going to school for one year and opt for money over in Europe and a shoe contract to help a family in need? I hope not, I don’t think this is a wise decision at all. The NBA needs to change the one year rule and make it like College Baseball, their you can goto the pros’ straight out of high school but if you don’t like were you get drafted then you goto college and have to wait until your Junior season before being drafted again. That way you have the choice to weight out options and can goto college where 99.9% of high school basketball player should go in the first place.
This has opened the eyes of Arizona coach Lute Olson who is quoted to saying ” I will not go after any more players looking to stay in school for only one year”. Let the games begin. I beleive that a college education is priceless and cannot be taken from you. Plus who wouldn’t want to live like a king for a couple of years. If you are good enough to make it to the NBA at 18 you still need to goto school to get polished up on life and being a kid before you go up against grown men and sitting at the end of a bench for 2 or three years.
