Don does it again!!!!!!!!

So what the problem Mr.Imus? Are you jealous of the African-American athlete? For those who don’t know Don Imus made another “racist” comment on his radio show. The topic this time was Adam “Pac-Man” Jones. Don’s co-host made the comment that Pac-man was signed by the Cowboys even though he was involved in a shooting at a club in LasVegas and was arrested 6 times in total and was still playing in the NFL. Don’s response started out ok, he stated that ” well thats what happens at a nightclub when you mix money,women,drugs, & guns”. Then he asked the question “what color is Pac-Man?” when the co-host said that Pac-Man was african-american, Don replied “oh well that explains it”. Now here is where the “fit hits the shan”. When Imus was called out because of the comment he replied that his response was taken out of context and that what he meant was…….“ That Pac-Man was being picked on because he was black”. That being said his bosses said they understood and nothing will be done to Imus for making the comment. Here is where I have a problem. Why did you even ask what color he was? Why did color have to be relevent? The fact that a athlete was arrested 6 times and involved in a shooting in a nightclub and still allowed to play in the NFL was what the co-host was trying to get you to answer DON. Color should not have had a relevence in your response. He did’nt bring it up YOU DID. So it seems to me that you would’ve answered differently had he said that Pac-man was white. What really bothers me is the Houdini explaination when you get called out. “oh what I meant was…..”. You said the same thing when you got called out with the Rutgers Womens Basketball team. So again I ask what do you have against black athletes? Let me guess you were the kid that was picked last in games at school. This is getting old Don, if you really believe what you said then stand on it, don’t back down because the heat’s on. Most people would respect the fact that you don’t like black people if you would just stand by your comment rather than give Houdini apologies just to make yourself look like a victim and escape the reprecussions of your comments. Real people know what meant and also know that “apology” was fake and lame. How ’bout you just leave sports talk alone because it seems you can’t hide your true colors when you don’t.
