Top 5 Reason Why The Los Angels Lakers Will Win !!!
June 5, 2008 |

The days of “he is so selfish”, and “no one wants to play with him”, maybe now coming to and end. Kobe Bryant, who in the beginning of the year wanted to be traded out of L.A., got booed his first night in his own home court when his name was announced to the crowd. At the end of the night the Staples Center where cheering for Bryant as he scored 45 points. And now at the end of the regular season and the post season, the Staples Center is now chanting “MVP,” Which Kobe won for the first time in his career. Now Bryant has one more hurdle and that’s the NBA Finals.

- Experince in the NBA Finals. Kobe has 3 Champions and Phil Jackson has 9. These two have won championship together and know what its going to take to get another one together.
- Kobe is the best player on the court. Bryant now must show team leadership and keep making his team play at high level.
- L.A. needs to score over 100 points. The Lakers are going up against the best defensive team in the NBA. If the Lakers score over 100 it will be hard for Boston to keep up with them.
- Lamar Odom has been the second best player for the Lakers. Odom must continue to be aggressive on the court.
- The Lakers must split the first two games with Boston at home. If the Lakers get one of the two the Lakers can end this in five or six.

Exactly. The Celtics are a feel good story, but it is Kobe’s year. The key is going to be interior defense. The Lakers have busy hands that will make steals and punish the Celtics in transition. Plus, who is Ray Allen going to stop on defense? The same person he has stopped all during the playoffs: Nobody!
The Lakers will beat the Celtics the same way the Hawks did it, with athleticism. But the difference will be that Kobe is the best game manager in the business and he will close it out. Don’t be surprised if this is wrapped up in 5; although the League will want a seven game series.
You made a typo. You meant to say Celtics will close the series in 5 games.
