Taking Care Of Business At Home
Game 4 took place last night in Cleveland and the Boston Celtics proved once again that playing on the road is no fun. The Celtics lost last night 88-77 to the Cavs and now they are facing a 2-2 best-of-seven series. The defense of the Cavaliers improved as they held the Celtics to only 12 pts in the fourth quarter. Lebron James finished with 21 pts, including a nasty dunk on Kevin Garnett in the final minutes.
James was just 7-for-20 from the floor, but he still did his job and helped his team tie up this series. KG scored 15 pts, but again the “D” from Cleveland held him to only two points in the second half. The other two that make up the big three had ok nights as well. Ray Allen had 15 pts and Paul Pierce had 13. During the fourth quarter, James missed his first six shots before hitting a three. He then made an it’s-about-time shrug. The game was very intense, even Lebron Jame’s mama got involed. During a play were Lebron was trying to go to the hole for a dunk, Pierce wrapped his arms around him and they went into the crowd. Then James’ mama grabbed Pierce and James had to tell her to sit down. Game 5 is Wednesday in Bean Town and then Game 6 will be back at Cleveland. The key for the Celtics is to just win on the road. Point, blank, period.
