Doc Rivers last season only won 24 games.  A lot of people thought that Rivers was maybe not cut out to be the coach for the Celtics.  The General Manager Danny Ainge pulled off a huge trade.  Ainge brought in Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.  And with that the Celtics has had the biggest turn around in NBA history.  A fourty two game turn around and with a win tonight.  The Boston Celtics will be going to the NBA Finals. Boston hasn’t been in the NBA Finals since 1987.  The last time the Celtics won a Championship was 1986.

Paul Pierce has been with the Boston Celtics his entire career.  Pierce for 10 seasons has had it’s ups and downs.  But tonight Pierce and the Boston Celtics are going to the NBA Finals.  Boston tonight had to over come a 10 point lead in the third quarter.  And that’s what the Celtics did.  Boston out scored the Pistons in the 4th quarter 29-13.  Paul Pierce went 8-12 from the field.  Pierce lead all scores with 27.  In all there were four players for the Celtics that were in double figures.  The Celtics tonight when they were presented with the Eastern Conference trophy had this to say. ” BEAT L.A., BEAT L.A.”  Now let all the hype begin.  The Celtics Vs. Lakers and this season, Boston has beaten the Lakers both times this season.
