San Antonio Spurs are old boaring not fun to watch and is a t.v. ratings nightmare.  The only thing they do well is win. The Spurs last night showed the Hornets and the NBA world no matter how you may feel about us remember the Champs are here.  The Spurs in the 1st half shot for 60% and part of the reason is Tony Parker being in the painted area all night long.  For all the Chris Paul talk Tony Parker has been flat outstanding. Parker went 8-12 from the field and the most impressive stat is he did not turn the ball over once in the 1st half and add that Parker did not even shoot a three pointer in the game last night.

The Spurs also last night had a break out game from the “THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA TIM DUNCAN.”  who had 22 points 15 rebounds.  Duncan lead  the Spurs in scoring.  In all the Spurs had 5 players in double figures. “I’m just trying to do my part,” Duncan said. “It’s just that. You’ve got to step up at playoff time. It’s win or go home. So you’ve got to step up and make plays.” As for the Hornets they only shot 40% for the game and scored only 80 points.  The Hornets in there 1st two games at home scored 102 and 110 points. The Hornets so far in game 3 and 4 they’ve in both games scored under 100 points.  Chris Paul has been playing well but the supporting cast has been the issue .  Calling Peja Stojakovic in the past two Hornets loses Stojakovic is 5-16 from the floor.  Bryon Scott coach of the Hornets had this to say about Game 4.”Our intensity was terrible. From Game 1 to Game 4, ours has gotten worse and theirs has gotten better,” Hornets coach Byron Scott said. “And that’s been the difference. They’re just kicking our butts right now. Is that simple enough?”  Can the young Hornets now show they can fight off the Champions?  Game 5 will be back in the BIG EASY let’s just see what the Hornets are made of.
