Slap On The Cheek- Pistons 100 76ers 77!!
The Philadelphia 76ers who shocked the NBA world with there season this year by making the playoffs had it come to and end last night in Philadelphia. The young 76ers and there head coach Maurice Cheeks played one of the inspring seasons that the NBA has seen in a long time but last night they ran into veteran team who flat out was better than them and was set out to close the series out and that’s what Detriot did.
The Pistons set the tone early in the game by going on a 10-0 run in the start of the game and you could’ve turn your t.v. sets of there. The Pistons lead the whole way and the 76ers just look like a deer in the head lights. The first quarter ended with the score 30-12 and for the 1st half the Pistons shot 60% from the floor. Richard Hamilton lead all scores with 24 for a team the Pistons for the entire game shot 58% as for the 76ers they was only able to hit only 3 three pointers shot a dismal 33% from the floor some of the Philly fans showed how bad of support they gave there team by booing the 76ers off the court when the score in the 4th quarter was 79-51 but not to bash all Sixers fans they gave the team a standing ovation to the Sixers at the end of the game. The Sixers head Maurice Cheeks had this to say”No way did I anticipate a night like this,” Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks said. “I didn’t think they’d continue to make shots, but they did. We just never got a run, their defense was suffocating.” Next up for the Detriot Pistons are the Orlando Magic this battle will take place this Saturday at the Pallace in Detriot.
