Seven Heaven- Hawks 103 Celtics 100 !!!
The Boston Celtics in the regular season won 66 games brought the historic franchise the Boston Celtics back to promise. The Celtics taking on the Hawks was suppose to be a laugher a week ago the Celtics had a 2-0 lead and now just a week later the Hawks and the Celtics are now tied up at 3-3. The turn around is being at home for the Hawks and having different teamates step up to the plate. Last night in game 6 in the 1st half who lead scores for the Hawks Marvin Williams with 12 points the Celtics had a 50-49 lead at the half. This game was back and forth in the second half but in the 4th period the Hawks outscored the Celtics 24-18 with key three pointer from Joe Johnson of the Hawks and Paul Pierce who was called with his 6th foul didn’t take it to well by throwing his head band after the foul was called. A technical foul was called and The Hawks was able to hold off the Celtics and get the win 103-100. The key factor is the 20,425 fans in Atlanta letting the Celtics know that you can’t beat the Hawks not tonight in this building.”I’ve played 13 years, and I’ve been here every year for 13 years,” Garnett said. “This is the first time I’ve seen this atmosphere like this [in Atlanta]. That’s the intensity of the playoffs.” Josh Smith who is from Atlanta had this to say “It’s definitely a dream,” Atlanta’s Josh Smith said. “But we weren’t going to be satisfied with just making the playoffs.” Can the Atlanta Hawks pull off one of the biggest upsets in sports history by going up to Boston in a game7 to get a win? Sunday at 1pm will find out.
