Not so fast everybody.  The Spurs are not dead yet.  Last night once again they prove that they have a heart of champion.  San Antonio beat the Hornets not only by scoring but also beat them up.  The Hornets was really never in the game. The Hornets were only 2-9 from three point range and looked like a deer in the head lights.  David West who scored a career high 38 points only had 10 in game 6 and had to leave the game with a back injury.  West was having problems with his back all night long but Robert” The Hit Man” Horry came in and gave in a nice little love tap to the lower back.  Which made West had to leave for the rest of the game.

The Spurs in game 6 shot almost 50% from the floor at 38-77 and from three point range they were 11-21 at 52%.  There were 4 Spurs in double figures lead by Manu Ginobli with 25 points.  Ginobli hit 6 three pointers in the g”We know what we’re facing. We’re facing elimination,” “And we know we have to put a good game together there. … We’re going to take it in there and it’s do-or-die.”ame and was unstoppable the whole night.” Tim Duncan.  Tony Parker had this to say about game 7. “I have confidence,” Parker said. “We’ve won a lot of big games on the road.” Byron Scott of the Hornets was not a lost for words had this to say. I think we lost our focus at the beginning of the game,” Hornets coach Byron Scott said. “They got three quick baskets in the paint, all on the things we talked about not doing. I don’t think our guys were totally focused on what we needed to do. And maybe in the back of their minds they had that false sense of ‘Hey, we got Game 7 at home, so just in case we do lose, at least we’re going home for the last one.’ “  This was a series of outstanding point guard play and stand out performances by both Power Fowards.  The question at the end of the day who will be left standing?  On Monday night we will find out.
