The report before Game 3 Spurs Vs. Hornets were the Hornets are too fast for the Spurs.  Tony Parker can’t handle the new sensation Chris Paul.  Tim Duncan has lost a step.  To be truthful the only thing the Hornets did was defend there home court.  Now if the Hornets was to win game 3 in San Antonio then the statements previous made maybe true but the Spurs prove once again in Game 3 they have the heart of a Champion.

New Orleans Hornets' Chris Paul (3) talks with San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker, of France, during the third quarter of Game 3 in an NBA Western Conference semifinal basketball series Thursday, May 8, 2008, in San Antonio. The Spurs beat the Hornets 110-99.

Tony Parker the MVP of the finals last season showed why last night he was selected MVP of last season finals. Parker had 31 points and 11 rebounds Ginobli who was named the sixth man of the year had 31 and the Spurs was able to get the win 110-99 and now trail the Spurs 2-1.  The Spurs shot 48% from the floor and was 11-25 from three point range for the game. San Antonio had 5 players in double figures.  Ginobli had this to say about last nights win”We know that going 3-0 — it’s never been done to come back like that,” said Ginobili, who along with Parker consistently got to the rim. “Today, for us, it was a Game 7. We knew if we didn’t win today, it was almost over. So we had a different approach. We played with more passion, more edge.” The Hornets Chris Paul went for 35 points and 9 assist but the problem for the Hornets was there three point shooting they shot 18% 2-11 from the field.  Bryon Scott head coach of the Hornets had this to say about Game 3You got to give them a lot of credit,” Hornets coach Byron Scott said. “I thought they played a lot more aggressive tonight. A lot more physical. Basically kind of took us right out of our game. I thought we lost our composure tonight a little bit as well.”  The Hornets in order to improve three point shot in there favor has got to Peja Stojakovic must shoot better.  Stojakovic shot 2-7 from the floor last night and only had 8 points.  David West for the Hornet was solid dropping 23 and 12 rebounds.  Game 4 will take place on Saturday in San Antonio.
