Game 2 the Boston Celtics were trying to win there 10th post season game in a row and also take a 2-0 lead in Eastern Conference Finals. The Boston Celtics in threre 9 wins at home have kept the visitors under 100 points. The first two teams that the Boston Celtics faced, do not pack the same punch as the Detriot Pistons. Detriot comes in battle tested and loves playing on the road and is ready to break the 9 post game home winning streak of the Celtics.

The Pistons in Game 2 was the first team to score 100 points against the Boston Celtics at home during the post season. The Pistons had 6 players in double figures lead by Richard Hamilton with 25. Rasheed Wallace who 13 points and 10 rebounds had this to say about Game 2.”It is even “We don’t sit back and say, ‘Oh, look. They are undefeated at home,’ or ‘They didn’t win a game on the road.’ … A lot of the teams they played in the postseason and the regular season were scared of them, as far as KG and Ray and Paul. They are good players, but we have good players, also.” As for the Celtics there defense couldn’t hold the Pistons. The Pistons in game 2 shot almost 50% from the floor. Doc Rivers head coach of the Celtics had this to say.”I fully believe, and I’ve said many times, at some point we’re going to have to win on the road,” Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. “We’ve gotten away with it thus far. That’s been taken away. And if we want what we want, we have to win on the road and that’s just the way it is.” The big three for the Celtics came to play lead by Paul Pierce 26, Kevin Garnett 24 and Ray Allen had a break out game with 25. Allen who have been struggling with his shot during the post season had this to say.”I would rather be sitting here saying I can’t make a shot but we won the game,” Allen said. “I knew at some point my shot had to drop.” Game 3 will take place at the Palace in Detriot this Saturday at 8pm. The series is tied up at 1-1.
