It took the Yankees 12 innings to defeat the Twins. The Yankees have had to over come a lot in the first two months of the season. The Yankees have had a lot injuries. Hughes,Kennedy have not been the young stud pitchers the Yankees could count on. The big hit for the Yankees was in the 12th inning. Bobby Abreau drove in the go ahead run for the Yankees. And then it was time for the man himself Mariano Rivera. The one thing that has stayed constant is Mariano Rivera. Rivera will go down as the reliever in the game. And tonight Rivera in the 12th inning tonight shut down the Twins. Rivera with save tonight is his 15th of the season. And now the Yankees are now 28-27 this season.
