Titans are on the clock………
The Titans are on the clock and it looks like they want to get a WR to help Vince Young. They have made no bones about what they want from this years draft. Bet you can’t tell me who lead the Titans in Recieving in 07? Eric Moulds?….NO, Pro Bowl TE, Bo Scaife?….NO, It was ……..JUSTIN GAGE!!!!!!!! (WHO?) excatly! Gage led the Titans with 55 receptions and 750 yrds. Roydell Williams came second with 54 receptions/719 yrds. Needless to say if the Titans want to stay competitive in the AFC South, they will need some better weapons.
The Titans select: WR James Hardy, Indiana at 6′6/220 this is a fast and a big play type of guy. In 36 games for Indiana, Hardy started 26 games caught 191 passes/ 2740 yrds/ 14.4 per catch avg/ 36 TDs. A red zone monster that will help the Titans and more importantly Vince Young.
Key Free agents:
Albert Haynesworth (DT) Designated franchise player.
Alge Crumpler (TE) signed (two-year contract).
Jevon Kearse (DE) signed/unrestricted free agent (three-year contract).
Jake Scott (G) signed/unrestricted free agent (four-year contract).
Justin McCareins (WR) signed
Dwayne Blakley (TE) signed/unrestricted free agent.
Daniel Loper (T) re-signed/restricted free agent.
Donnie Nickey (S) re-signed/unrestricted free agent.
Josh Stamer (LB) signed/unrestricted free agent.

Bringing in Alge Crumpler was a key move for the Titans. Now Vince will have a saftey valve and a big play TE at the same time.
