TEXANS on the clock…….
Here is a team that a lot of people felt that by drafting Mario Williams last year would be a disaster. They cut their franchise QB, no real run threat, really no personality. Defense has stepped up to the plate, but ask the Ravens Defense can only do so much when your offense can’t make plays. Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub were starting to shine late, but RB by committee hurt the Texans. After a 8-8 season look for the Texans to look for a RB that can produce on a consistent basis, or some O-line help.
The Texans select: RB, Jonathan Stewart, Oregon March 10th Stewart had toe surgery, but a 4.48 40 at the combine really helped. Solid back that can break a big one. Runs between the tackles very well and can catch the football out the back-field.

Quinn Gray (QB) signed/unrestricted free agent (one-year contract).
Nick Ferguson (S) signed/unrestricted free agent
C.C. Brown (S) re-signed.
Brandon Frye (T) re-signed.
Adding Chris Brown will help out the run game. The Texans are using free agency to bring some quality vets to help lead this still young team.
