Redskins on the clock……..

I may not be a Skins fan, but I was pulling for them last season to do something special. The loss of Sean Taylor and how the NFL treated the situation was brutal. After a 9-7 wild card season, the Skins saw some light with their young players. Need another playmaker on the other side of Santana Moss will be key. Look for a big play WR or Sean Taylors replacement in the draft for the Skins.
The Redskins select: WR Malcolm Kelly, Oklahoma at 6′4/217 this guy will need to have a big private work-out. He skipped the combine and his pro-day. he caught 144 passes for 2285 yrds and 21 TDs for the Sooners. Have had some off field issues with drugs. His numbers keep him in the Skins sights.

Ethan Albright (C) re-signed.
Todd Collins (QB) re-signed/unrestricted free agent (three-year contract).
Rock Cartwright (RB) re-signed/unrestricted free agent (three-year contract).
Ryan Boschetti (DT) re-signed/unrestricted free agent
Matthias Askew (DT) signed.
Derrick Frost (P) re-signed/unrestricted free agent.
Jason Fabini (T) signed/unrestricted free agent
Nehemiah Broughton (RB) re-signed/unrestricted free agent.
Jerome Mathis (WR) signed/unrestricted free agent.
Getting some help for C.Portis was key here and signing some veteran WRs and rebuilding the O-Line.
