OVER-RATED….Cavs lose by 36
April 25, 2008 |
“Over-rated” is not the type of chants Lebron James is use to hearing, but after they lost by 36 in Game 3, I think the Wizards fans had ever right to say that. The Wizards played at home last night as they killed the Cavs 108-72. Someone else who has James on their hit list sat front and center to watch history happen. Soulja Boy was there and its funny that he showed up to this game. King James could do nothing but laugh as he watched his team sink farther and farther away from winning Game 3. The Wizards now may have a shot of winning the series as they cut it down to 2-1. The Wizards had the lead at halftime 49-33 and the Cavs could not recover from that.
James only finished with 22 pts still not bad but nothing like the 32 and 30 that he put up in Games 1 and 2. The Wizards tried to make James shot more for the outside and it worked…..not to mention all the heavy boos that the crowd provided. Gilbert Arenas was out early in the first half but players like Caron Butler (17pts) and Antawan Jamison (15) were not going to let a sweep happen again. Turn-overs were also a problem for the Cavs who had 15 in the first half alone. Game 4 will be played in Washington and maybe Soulja Boy should stick around, it seems to work.
