Houston-Utah Series 3-1
April 29, 2008 |
This could be it for the Houston Rockets. They are losing in their series 3-1 to the Utah Jazz. Only eight teams in NBA history have come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the series. The 1995 Rockets did just that and the won the Finals as well that year. The 2008 Rockets made history also this year, but their is another type of history they want. That is to make it out of the first round of the playoffs. The Rockets are the lowest scoring team in the playoffs and their shooting average is just as bad. The Rockets have also shot poorly when no one is guarding them. They are shooting a league-low 65.7 percent from the free-throw line in the playoffs. In Game 3, Houston went 16-for-22 from the line, while the Jazz went 20-of-33. Tracy McGrady has avg 23 pts in this series, but Utah’s defense has forced him to shot alot of three pointers. Could history be made tonight….only time will tell
