The Suns when they made the big trade to bring Shaquille O’Neal your’s truly thought that this will be the key item to bring a championship to the desert.  The four time champion was suppose to have been the tough defense they needed to beat the teams out west.  Steve Kerr made this bold move to bring O’Neal I still think it was a great move they just drew the wrong team which was the defending champs the San Antonio Spurs.  The Spurs who has the ” THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA TIM DUNCAN.”  Once again shows everyone you other teams may get all the commercials but at the end of the day I will hold the championship trophy. 

Game 5 was a game that went back and forth no one really took control of this game but there was one thing that really was going to be trouble for the Suns and that was there foul shooting.  The Suns were awful from the free throw line 20-37 at 54%  while the Spurs were 24-30 who shot 80%.  The Spurs defense was outstanding in the 4th quarter with the Suns scoring there lowest point total in the 4th with only 15.  The Spurs were able to pull away in the 4th quarter with big time performance by Parker and Duncan who scored 29.  Stoudemire had this to say after the lose to the Spurs”Every year it seems like we always play the Spurs, and they beat us every single time,” Stoudemire said. “As long as I’m here we’re going to break it sooner or later, because I’m tired of losing to these guys. I’m sick and fed up.”  The Suns head coach had this to say about the Spurs”We went up against a team that knows how to win,” Suns coach Mike D’Antoni said. “Every time we needed to close something out — a half or a game — they got the best of us. That’s why they’re the champions.” There is a reports the Mike D’ Antoni may have coached his final game as and Phoneix Sun as for the Spurs they get ready for the Chris Paul and the Hornets Game 1 this Saturday.
