John Smoltz as usual comes through clutch. The Braves coming into tonights game was on 3 game losing streak and they were looking for someone to help stop the bleeding in comes Mr. John Smoltz. Tonight Smoltz for the first time in his 21 year career is now 3-0. Smoltz shut down the Marlins tonight by striking out 10 batters and for his career he is now Smoltz will have 2,996. Chipper Jones was the hitting start for the Braves tonight he went 4 for 4 this season Jones 4 homeruns batted .443 14 RBI’s. For the game tonight Jones hit two homeruns and three RBI’S. The Braves get a much needed win and Smoltz now ERA for the season is .056. The rest of the Braves need to straightend up and fly right the rest of the staff is 3-9.
