NBA MVP PT.2

At the start of the season if would’ve said Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers were going to win 57 games your’s truly would’ve said “you don’t know a damn thing about basketball.” Well needless to say I was WRONG about Kobe Bryant. Bryant this season was and MVP not only by his style of play but also by the way he helped make his teamates better. Bryant and the Lakers had to play at such a high level to even be in the playoffs this season and to have the best record is truly remarkable. The Lakers maybe the team to beat out west espcially if Pau GaSol and Lamar Odem play the way they did game 1 in the playoffs against Denver. For the season Kobe Bryant average. 28 points 5 Assit close to 2 steals and was on the court for 38 minutes.

What did I tell all of you guys at the beginning of the season??? That LA would win 60 games, you all laughed. We didn’t hit 60 but we came damn close. Kobe should be MVP, No doubt about it. Whether he’s holding the trophy or not, every laker/kobe fan truly knows in their hearts that Kobe is the MVP. From dealing with all the injuries to his team, to playing with a dislocated pinky. He has also made his teammates better in 2 straight years that he dominated. Look at Odom and Andrew. So now there is nothing they can say to tell us that kobe is not the MVP. People bash Chris Paul and Lebron James who are both amazing talents and have saved their team. Just look at what CP3 has done with Tyson Chandler. What was he when he was playing for the Bulls? To keep it real Kobe was the MVP last year. Too often politics come into play in these matters. Kobe should finally get his due this year. Chris Paul has mad game but he has the ball 100% of the time in that offense. So he has his own destiny in his hands after every made basket or missed shot by the other team. I like his professionalism. He’s a stand up guy in today’s me-me -me world. If he does not get it this year, man it will be truly sad, but The only thing that matters is that Kobe will be sporting the most important hardware this year though. That championship ring!
