Hawks Make The Playoffs !!!

The longest NBA drought is over. Not since 1999 have the Atlanta Hawks will join the post season. The Hawks get in after the Pacers lost last night and was able to get the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks are a feel good story of the NBA this season the fans who have suffered all the years and remeber the days in the Omni now have at least two game at the new Phillips Arena who is for the first time will be hosting a NBA playoff game. They will take on the Boston Celtics and eventhough it maybe a short series in some people eyes the Hawks will be motivated at home and “MAYBE” give the Celtics a hard time when they come to the Phillips Arena. They’re a team that obviously is very good,” Childress said. “I like our chances. We match up pretty well with them. In the games we played them we have played well, but we weren’t able to finish the game. I feel like we’re still trying to get better at that.

“We’re a team that has nothing to lose. We’re going to go out there and just fight.”

Kudos to the Hawks and all it’s fans get ready for the playoffs.
