So Young
Now I know that there have been plenty of players in the last decade to show us that College is not needed for NBA success. With players such as Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Kevin Ganett have blazed a trail of not only monetary but on the court brillance. For every Kobe there is a LaDarius Miles. Miles never panned out and never achieved the amount of success the afore mentioned have. Now I look at Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, OJ Mayo, Michael Beasley, and possibly Darren Collison. Now don’t get me wrong Beasley and Mayo are very talented and may well be better on the professional level than in college. As far as Rose I just don’t see how you can lose the national championship game the way they did and not want to return to win it next year. I mean you are at the line with a chance to salt the game away and you make only one of two free throws which leads to the tying three and you lose in overtime. Now to me Rose is ready I just don’t see how you leave on that note. Moving on to Kevin Love. Who in the hell told this guy he is ready for prime time. Just look at his body. Have you ever seen a weight room Kev? He had a fantastic year for the Bruins but nothing really stood out to me about him. I kinda wish this was 1988 not 2008. If it were ‘88 then all these guys more than likely would be back and how good would college basketball be?
