Tennessee Beats Oral Roberts 94-55
How do you try to stop one of the best teams in the tournament? Well you get there star player in foul trouble and if that does not work you just go home. And that is excaly what Oral Roberts did, they went home as they lost to Tennessee 94-55. Soon-to-be WNBA player Candace Parker got herself in a bit of foul trouble. She had 14pts, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks in just 18 minutes and then she went to the bench for good with her fourth foul.
But did that stop the Lady Vols. No, freshman Angie Bjorklund had 16pts and 7 rebounds, she also hit four 3-pointers. Really Tennessee didn’t need Parker much, that might change on Tuesday when the face Purdue. For Oral Roberts, they just could get in the groove after Parker’s absence. When the Golden Eagles started missing shots, Tennessee just had a field day and the game was pretty much over from there.
