Thanks Brett

It’s a sad day in the NFL as we say good-bye to one of the Best QB’s to play the game, BRETT FARVE. Brett has broken my heart plenty of times against my Cowboys. The best thing about Brett was, He played like a kid in every game. Never took the game too seriously, spoke his mind whether you like it or not. The images of Brett coming to interviews with flannel shirts, flip-flops, ball-caps will always stay in my mind. Through personal tragedy from his father, brother-inlaw passing away and then his wife being diagnosed with breast cancer, he still came to work and did his job. We can all relate to having to work under extreme pressure and I think that was Bretts appeal to all of us. I would root for Brett (unless they were playin the Boys), But even then I would hope he had a good game. Brett is that guy we all want to be. Candid, a leader, hard worker, Family man, and always want the best for the team, is what we can only hope our kids will be like that. He was’nt afraid to take risks and he owned up for his mistakes. He never let himself be bigger than the game he played and I think he understood just that. He made a living playing a game. Although he played a game he was one of the hardest working guys doing it and was having fun. Athletes need to really step back and look at how Brett did his job and ask themselves that question, AM I DOING WHATS BEST FOR THE TEAM? AM I WORKING TO BE THE BEST AT MY JOB? MOST IMPORTANTLY, AM I HAVING FUN? Thanks Brett for giving us 17 years of great football and most of all being like the rest of us. GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE!!!!! SEE YOU IN CANTON!!!!!!!
