Hey gang the combine is over. Time to get ready for the draft. Lets look at the team moves and projected pick. Parcells was’nt kidding when he said this is the worst team he has ever seen. After a 1-15 season you knew that some changes were on the way.

The Dolphins could not have asked for a better person than Bill Parcells to come and turn this team around. Take a look at what he has done already.

MIAMI DOLPINS: 1st pick in the draft : Chris Long, DE, Virginia
This is the kind of tweener Parcells loves. He had a excellent combine and is in the mold of a Demarcus Ware.

DOLPHINS KEY FREE AGENT PICK UPS:

Yeremiah Bell (S) re-signed/unrestricted free agent (one-year contract).

Reggie Torbor (LB) signed/unrestricted free agent.

Charlie Anderson (LB) signed/unrestricted free agent.

Jason Ferguson (DT) traded (for 2008 & 2009 6th-round draft picks).

Josh McCown (QB) signed/unrestricted free agent (two-year contract).

Justin Smiley (G) signed/unrestricted free agent (five-year contract).

Randy Starks (DT) signed/unrestricted free agent (five-year contract).

Ernest Wilford (WR) signed/unrestricted free agent (four-year contract).

Sean Ryan (TE) signed/unrestricted free agent (one-year contract).

As you can see Parcells did’nt go and get a BIG name free agent, He went out and got football players that fit the kind of team new coach Tony Sparano can take complete control of. In the later rounds fo the draft look to Dolphins to fill in O-Line spots. This will be a run first type of team with a very nasty defense.
