Buffalo Bills on the clock
Sorry for the delay my friends. Had to do my civic duty as a juror in a really lengthy case. I’m back now so let pick up where we left off. AHHH Yes the Buffalo Bills. The Bills had a disappointing year in 2007 , but showed some bright spots with the emergence of Marshawn Lynch and Trent Edwards. The Offense now have a nice package of weapons. It’s the Defense that had struggled in 07. Having plenty of money to spend you see that the Bills have addressed their defensive problems and will look to the draft to get Edwards more weapons.
The Bills select: WR, Limas Sweed, Texas here is a guy that can give Evans some help on the outside. Possibly playing the slot as well. Had a good showing at the combine with a 4.46 40yrd dash. concerns are that he was injured for most of the 07 season with a wrist fracture, then re-injured it at the Senior Bowl.
key free agents; Kawika Mitchell (LB) signed/unrestricted free agent (five-year contract).
Marcus Stroud (DT) traded (for undisclosed number of draft picks).
Spencer Johnson (DT) signed/unrestricted free agent (five-year contract).
Matt Murphy (TE) re-signed/unrestricted free agent.
Jason Whittle (G) re-signed/unrestricted free agent (one-year contract).
Courtney Anderson (TE) signed/unrestricted free agent (two-year contract).
Bryan Scott (S) re-signed/unrestricted free agent.
William James (CB) signed/unrestricted free agent (two-year contract).
Dustin Fox (CB) re-signed.
Jason Jefferson (DT) re-signed.
Scott Mayle (WR) re-signed.
like I said they are addressing the defense through free agency and looking to get some more explosive weapons in the draft.
