Coach of the Year
As we debated last night on over who is theGreatest Coach of All Time maybe we should look at who will be this years Coach of the Year. A name that keeps coming up is Phil Jackson. According to NBA.com there are five nominees that have had an excellent year so far. Could anyone of these Coach take this award home this year…..you decide.
In no particular order here is the list from five to one.
No.5 - Nate McMillan, Portland Trail Blazers, 30-28, 10th in the Western Conference
No. 4 - Rick Adelman, Houston Rockets, 37-20, Seventh in the Western Conference
No. 3 - Doc Rivers, Boston Celtics, 44-12, first in the Eastern Conference
No. 2 - Phil Jackson, Los Angeles Lakers, 41-17, First in the Western Conference
No. 1 - Byron Scott, New Orleans Horents, 38-18, Third in the Western Conference
