New Orleans Hornets-Team of the Week!!!
The New Orleans Hornets has arguably has had a better week than the 21 in a row wins from the Houston Rockets. By beating the Spurs and the Lakers in the same week and both by double digits. The Hornets now with a record of 44-20 and is currently is 1/2 game behind the Lakers and the Rockets lead by Chris Paul who this season is avg. 21 points and 11 assit he has taken his place as the top point guard in the NBA. The Hornets are not just Chris Paul they have other factors on the team such as Peja Stojakovich avg.15 Tyson Chandler who also is avg.11 points 12 rebounds but don’t take my word for it this is what Spurs coach Greg Popovich said about the Hornets.

“The Hornets are an example of what’s going on in the West, anybody can beat anybody because the competition is so tough,” Popovich said. “(Hornets Coach) Byron (Scott) is doing the same kind of job when he was in New Jersey. This was coach Popovich statement after the Hornets beat the Champs by 25 this week. The Hornets who can’t dispite having a outstanding season they cannot sell out there building there is talk that the franchise may have to find another home this if they move will be the third time in its short franchise history but lets keep it positve can the Hornets do the unthinkable and win the Western Conference and win and NBA Championship if you would’ve said that in the beginning of the NBA season any NBA fan probably said you’re CRAZY well who is crazy now the Hornets are one of the top 3 teams in the West and maybe will be bringing a Championship to the state of Louisanna.
