The Major League Baseball Season will offically kick off this week where all teams will be in action.  There are a lot of story lines this coming season from Joe Giardi to Joe Tore.  Johan Santana going to New York Detriot Tigers being the new beast of the American League? The Seattle Mariners are now going to take over the AL West? Are the Colorado Rockies a trick pony? Will the Chicago Cubs who haven’t won since 1908 finally breakthrough and become the Champs of Baseball?

American League-Champs The Boston Red Sox !!!

1.Boston Red Sox- strength-experince knows how to win best 3 and 4 hitters in baseball the best clutch Pitcher in the game Josh Beckett.
Weakness- No Curt Schilling maybe out this season. Beckett starting out on the DL.
Overall-They will win the AL east.

2. Yankees- strength-Power they have a killer line up Alex Rodriguez,Robinson Cano,Jorge Pasda,Derek Jeter and Jaba Chamberlin Pitcher coming out the bullpen best one two combination in baseball with Mariano Rivera.  weakness age in pitching Andy Pettite,Mike Mussina and the young pitching Phillip Hughes. Overall-Yanks will end up in 2nd place in the east.

3. Toronto BlueJays-strength Vernon Wells,Roy Holiday top pitcher,Scott Rollen,David Ecstien proven winners from St.Louis.  Weakness Can’t stay healthy Roy holiday,Vernon Wells and they best players cannot compete with the Red Sox and Yanks. Overall third place in the division.

Game Notes-Tampa Bay will be tough but got the Rookie of the year on there team 3b Langouria who hit 33 homeruns in the minors but they just don’t have enough and for Baltimore they are the worst team in Baseball they got rid of the best hitter Miguel Tajdea and got rid of there best picther Bedrard who is now in Seattle so they’re in for a long season may win 65 game if lucky.

AL Central-Detroit Tigers !!!

1.Detroit Tigers-Strength -Murders Row Miguel Cabera, Maggio Ordonez,DH Gary Schfield, Ace Pitching Justin Verlander,Jermey Bonderman,Kenny Rogers and the wild card Dontrell Willis.  Weakness- Pitching and also can they finally win a world championship and what can you get out of closer Tom Jones and the wild card Dontrell Willis.  Overall they will average 6 to 7 runs a game and will run away with the division. Winner of the AL Central.

2. Cleveland Indians-strength-CC sabithia and Carmona maybe the best one two combination in the AL young hitting Gary Sizemore 24 homeruns 78 rbi’s Victor Martinez 25 homeruns 114 Rbi’s. Weakness Are up against the Tigers and have to play a better American League Red Sox,Yanks,Toronto,Seattle,Angels. Overall They will end up in 2nd place.

Game Notes- Twins back in a corner and had a dumb trade getting rid of Johan Santana,Fransico Lirano is out already this season will do Minor League starts maybe get something from Livan Hernandez but just not enough got Joe Maurer Justin Mourenau 31 homeruns 111 RBI”S. Third Place. White Sox Jose Contreas can he become the ace of the pitching staff A.J. Perzynski can he turn it around at the plate. 4th place Royals who cares blow the team up and move them to Vegas.

AL West

1. Seattle Marniers- Strength- Ichrio Suzuki,Adrian Beltrain, Felix Herndaz, Erik Bedard Weakness-They never won so can they have enough to win the west from the Angels. Overall its there time to take it from the Angels.

2. Los Angels Angels-Strength- Great manager Mike Sccoisia maybe the best in baseball  Vlad Guerro, Torri Hunter and DH Garrett Anderson Weakness-they have starting pitching issues they’re not healthy Kelvin Escabor and has a tear in his shoulder, overall second place due to not enough Pitching.

Game notes Oakland the billy ball days are over they just flat out don’t have enough to compete your higest salary is Eric Chavez with 15 homeruns he already has health issues the A’s will play hard but they will 71 games.  Texas no pitching and blow the team up.

NL East-New York Mets !!!
1. New York Mets-thebest left side in baseball David Wright,Jose Reyes, outfield Carlos Beltran and get a Ace Johan Santana and also if they 15 wins from Pedro Martinez they will run away with the NL East. Weakness-age can’t stay healthy Carlos Delgardo,Moisis Alou,Pedro Martinez and the Braves and Phillies in your divsion. Overall despite the collaspe Mets the best in the NL.

2. Phillies- strength the best hitting infield in baseball Ryan Howard,Chase Uttley and Jimmy Rollins. Weakness- PITCHING where is coming from your starting to bullpen Tom Gordon. Overall maybe wild card or missing the playoffs in third place.

3. Braves-strength-Pitching Tom Hudson,John Smoltz, Mark Texeira,Yunell Escobar maybe best hitting shortstop in the NL hall of fame player Chipper Jones. Weakness-age Your two most important players are a combine age of 75 and thats Smoltz,and Chipper Jones and can they stay healthy ? Overall-will fight to win the wild card and does have and outside chance to win the division.

Game notes-Washington Nationals-have a problem there best player on there team Dimitri Young came to camp overweight and has type 2 diabetes and may lose his spot to Nick Johnson. Nationals are a fiesty bunch and maybe win 72 games. The Marlins keep your eye on Hanley Ramierz batted .332 the Marlins is supposed to get a new stadium I say put the Rays and Marlins together and bulid a 30,000 seat areana and baseball will count in Florida other than that last place.

NL/Central-Chicago Cubs

1.Chicago Cubs- strength-Lou Pinella knows how to win Alfonso Soriano,Derek Lee, they have a strong pitcher Carlos Zambrano the new closer Kerry Wood? Weakness-Closer Kerry Wood a young Milwakee Brewes team and Carlos Zambrano can he be the man and not lose his cool? overall 1st place and wins the division.

2. Millwakee Brewers- strength-Prince Fielder can he pick up where he left The wild card Ben Sheets when is healthy can dominate a game like no other also with addition of Mike Cameron in the outfield good pick up for the Brewers. Weakness-not taking care of Prince Fielder who hit 50 homeruns with 119 runs the Brewers turned around and didn’t give him a new contract and Fielder this season is making $415,000 uh oh!! overall -they will not make the playoffs and Fielder will stick to them and once again back to the dark day of baseball for the Brewers.

3.The Reds-strength don’t be surprise if they lead the NL in homeruns Brandon Phillips with 30,Ken Griffey Jr,30,Adam Dunn 40 Pitching Aaron Harang went 16-6 last season with a ERA .373 Weakness-can Aaron Harang be better than Zambrano from the Cubs and Sheets from the Brewers? Overall-just not enough pitching but they might bump the Brewers can Dusty Baker do it?

Game notes-The Pirates watch out 2b Freddy Sanchez 11 homeruns 81 runs .304/Ian Snell 9-12 ERA. 3.76 maybe win 77 games. Last place the Cardinals Albert Pujos bad elbow will require tommy john surgery don’t look for Pujos to finish out the season this team is a train wreck maybe 65 games.

NLWest- L.A. Dodgers

1.Los Angeles Dodgers-Joe Tore has brought a new professionalism to this franchise.Rafel Furcal,ba.270,Nomar Garicaparia .280 and Jeff Kent 20 homeruns 79 rbi’s .302 and will Jason Schdmit become a count on pitcher. weakness Jason Schdmit, the NL West pitching Arizona,SanDiego and the champs Colorado Rockies this won’t be easy. Overall they have a enough veteran leadership and with Tore to win the West.

2. Colorado Rockies-The experince of winning last season will be a huge plus for this team Jeff Francis won 17 games and became the ace of the staff the best defensive infield in baseball Todd Helton at 1st,Matsui 2nd,Troy Tulowizki and Garrett Atkins Matt Holiday 36 homeruns 137 Rbi’s batted .340.  Weakness who else besides Jeff Francis is going to pitch well and now that you have won the NL west a big target is on you can you stand the rain? Overall-2nd place but it wouldn’t surprise me if they win it again.

3.Arizona Diamondbacks-starting pitching Bradon Webb 18-10 a three ERA and was the one every fifth day the Diamondbacks can count on. Chris Young lead off hitter with 32 homeruns 68 Rbi’s but batted .237. Watch out for Mark Reynolds 3rd baseman 17 homeruns 62 rbi’s. Weakness- they can’t hit I mean this team if they were in a Softball league will be in last place
 Overall Rockies and Dodgers just to tough and Randy Johnson will not win 16 games no 300 no playoffs but is the team of the future.

Game note-SanDiego Jake Peavy who won 19 game with and ERA.2 plus put him with the old man Maddux who can win about 14 games and trying to catch lighting in a bottle with Mark Prior this what they got pitching. Weakness AGE Jim Edmunds,Greg Maddux and the most over hype closer in the history of baseball trevor hofman PLEASE 500 saves so what you can’t count on him. Overall get out the ben gay it will be a long season for the Padres. Giants who cares they want to take down Barry Bonds stuff KILL YA SELF!!
