The LosAngeles Lakers have had it bad of late loosing back to back games to the Hornets and the Rockets add to it  Pau GaSol and Andrew Bynum maybe until the playoffs the Lakers seem to be for the taking tonight against the hot Dallas Mavericks team who have won 4 in a row and is looking to get a top position in the Western Conference.

The Dallas Mavericks wanted seek a little payback to the Lakers after there overtime loss to them at the Staples Center,but Kobe and the Lakers will have nothing of it.  The Lakers had a 20 plus lead at the end of the 1st half and truly at least early in this contest took the spirit out of the Mavericks.  The Mavs came roaring back lead by Nowitzki with 35 11 rebounds and five block shots.  The run for the Mavs was outstanding by going on in the second half a 14-1 run but when push came to shove Kobe had 29 and 7 assit Lamar Odom who I forgot he was on the team by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds.  In all four players for the Lakers were in double figures and to make matters worse Jason Kidd has his worst game as Mavericks since coming to the ball club back in Febuary.  Kidd had 1point 7 assit and 3 rebounds and with that the Mavericks still had a chance to win the game but Nowitizki with the final seconds on the clock missed a three pointer and the Lakers were able to snap the two game loosing streak and be tie with the Lakers for the top spot in the West.
