Half Man Half Amazing-Nets 125 Hawks 117 !!!
The Izod Center tonight hosted the battle for the final playoff seat in the Eastern Confernce. The Hawks the first time since December have won back to back games on the road and since as a franchise they haven’t taste post season basketball since 1999 this game tonight was one of the biggest games for the Hawks in the past 8 seasons.
The New Jersey Nets are a new looking team with the trade of Jason Kidd leaving and Devin Harris now running the show. A Net fan will have to think in the back of there mind that playoff might not be in the cards this year? Well not so fast. Introducing half man half amazing Vince Carter who had and outstanding evening tonight truly was the best player on the court with scoring 39 points and 10 rebounds also his teamates Richard Jefferson who is now 19-0 against the Hawks in the Izod Center Jefferson dropped 33 but the play of the point guard Devin Harris was steller 26 points and 9 assit. For the Hawks the Rookie canidate of the year Al Horford was there best player the whole night by once again having a double double 20 points and 15 assit. Joe Johnson started out hot in the 1st half he had 17 points but in the 2nd scored 7 Johnson ended with 24 for the night. If you want to know why the Hawks lost tonights game is due to they did not guard the three point shot. New Jersey tonight shot 11-18 while the Hawks 5-18. New Jersey with the win tonight has regained the final playoff spot in the East.
