Green & Gold-Celtics 94 Rockets 74 !!!
If you were a betting person you would’ve had to put your money on the Rockets tonight. I mean 22 in a row beat the Lakers soundly and the Boston Celtics who last night played a tough nail bitter against the Spurs the Celtics was picked by everyone yours truly to loose this game tonight but this is why the Celtics have the best record in the NBA at now 54-13.
The Boston Celtics came into the Toyota Center in Houston looking like the NBA Champs at the end of the 1st half with the score tied at 40 both teams were playing at a high level surprisingly the Celtics were able to keep up with Rockets you would’ve thought that game with the Spurs last night fatigue would kick in for the boys from beane town not so. The absence of Yao Ming finally showed up with the Celtics crashing the boards the Rockets just couldn’t keep the Celtics from getting good high percentage shots in the painted area. The Celtics out rebounded the Rockets 45 to 35 but what jumps out at you was how in effective Tracy McGrady was he only had 8 points and the high man for the Rockets was Luis Scola with 15 and if that is the case that is a making of a long night for the Rockets.” A lot people don’t think we got dept” That was Kevin Garnett when he talked about the performance of Leon Powe off the bench scoring 21 the Celtics will cruise right along and maybe at the end of this season holding up the NBA trophy.

You can brush this off as hindsight, but as a ‘betting person’ wouldn’t you think that the streak has to come to an end and that the more games the team plays the more likely that streak is to end? Throw in the fact that they were facing the best team in the league. To me, as a bettor, you have to have gone with the Celtics.
