Chris Webber was drafted in 1993 and 15 seasons later on March 25 2008 Webber due to bad chronic knee problems has call it a career.  Webber hasn’t been able to play since March 2nd due to the knee problems and on Wednesday will hold a press conference to make the offical announcement.  For his NBA career Webber avg 20 per game 9 rebounds and was single handed the reason why anyone paid any attention to the Sacramento Kings. Webber came to the Kings on May 14th  and his career exploded.  Webber in 2002 was one game away from taking the Kings to the NBA championship but they felt short to the Los Angeles Lakers in a classic series.

Chris Webber made all NBA five years in a row being with the Kings from 1999-2003 and in 2001 came in 4th place in the  MVP voting.  Webber took the Kings to a record of 61-21 and before the year started signed a huge deal seven year 127 million contract but for all his sucess in the NBA Webber probably was more popular known as part of the Fab Five in Michgan being a star not only for Michgan but also for all urban areas remeber this is the team that started the bald head and baggy shorts not Micheal Jordan. Webber never won a  national championship but this team the Michgan Wolveriness will go down as one of the teams that had left its mark on the NCAA weather good or bad everyone knew about the fab five, so now here we are 15 years later and Webber is saying good bye to basketball.  Webber man thanks for the memories.
