On Your Heels
The Clemson Tigers can look at their two losses to North Carolina this year and thank their horrid free throw shooting. Ironically it was their free throw shooting that sealed the victory against Duke on Saturday. Now another chance at North Carolina not just for a victory but for a ACC Championship. Clemson plays stifling defense with athletic players such as Trevor Booker, Cliff Hammonds, K.C Rivers, and the ultra rugged James Mayes in the middle. Of course nothing will be easy against the Heels and player of the year Tyler Hansborough. If you look at the two regular season games and no team in the country outside of Duke played the Heels so tough. It could have easily been a sweep for the Tigers. In game one it took 33 points from Wayne Ellington to bail out the Heels. In game 2 it was comeback from 16 down in the second half to force overtime and the win for North Carolina.
