Breakin down the Midwest

In true David and Goliath form 10th seeded Davidson and 12th seeded Villanova take on two of the tournaments’s Goliath’s in Kansas and Wisconsin.

It will be defense vs offense. I have a sneaky suspicion that the Badgers will do some scoring themselves. With Trevon Hughes and Brian Butch leading the way I think Wisconsin will score more than people think. Then again can they stop Curry and the rest of his Davidson teammates.Although Curry scored 70 points in his two tournament games it is going to take another stellar game from Jason Richards who poured in 20 against the Hoyas.

Now the Wildcats have been a great story as well. Being the last at large team to receive a bid Scottie Reynolds has not let the bid go in vain. In wins over Clemson and Siena Reynolds has been the guy and must continue to be the guy. Kansas must continue to get mass production from there backcourt. Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, and Russell Robinson will have to continue to push the ball and make great decisions. Rebounding will be a key as well.

Kansas and Davidson move on. Curry gets it done.
