Houston, We Have A Problem…..
The #2-ranked Lady Vols of Tennessee victory over Mississippi St. seemed to be an easy one, but lost star forward Candace Parker sprained her left knee with a little over 3 minutes remaining in the game. Parker, hurt her knee after hustling for a loose ball, she was examined after the game and they said her knee was “solid.” Any injury to that knee is doubly-frightening for Parker who has had surgery on it twice, including repair of a torn ACL she suffered in high school. Parker is listed as day-to-day.
