Palvik Wins By Decision!!!

Fight fans were treated to and explosive rematch tonight in the Super MiddleWeight division. Palvik went up against Taylor and both fighters treated the fans in Las Vegas to a good follow up to the 1st fight in the in September of 07. Taylor fought a smart fight but it seemed for Taylor to beat Palvik tonight he would’ve need it to beat Palvik soundly. Palvik tonight who seemed to be a step slower than Taylor tonight still was able to pull out the victory due to a great jab and putting pressure on Taylor, but Taylor had landed the clean blows and even hurt Palvik a couple times through the fight. The judges scored the bout 117-111,115-113 and 116-112 all in favor for Plavik.

“We both did a better job tonight than the first fight,” Pavlik said. “The key was inside pressure. My fight strategy was to put the pressure on him, back him up. My jab and punches landed more this time. Nothing will top the first victory over Jermain, but it was a great win tonight.” Next up of Palvik is rumored to be Felix Trindand in MSG on June 7th.
