No Tricks Tonight-Lakers 117 Magic 113 !!!

Written on February 8, 2008 – 8:12 pm | by Harry Robinson |

The Orlando Magic hosted the Lakers tonight.  The Lakers who are on a 9 game road streak and on this road streak they’re 3-2 and the team leader Bryant had a jamed pinky and has been a problem the past two games where Bryant has shot for 7-29.  The big time help for the Lakers have been the new edition of Pau GaSol who has not only been a good scoring but GaSol defense has been his greatest input.  Tonight taking on the new big man in the eastern conference Dwight Howard who not since Shaq has the Orlando Magic thinking about a NBA title. Kobe Bryant started out hot in the 1st half Bryant scored 22 points. GaSol was the next man to bring tonight by scoring 30.  Bryant at the end of the night had 36 between Bryant and GaSol had a combination of 19 rebounds.  Orlando tried to make a rally with Howard leading the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  The Lakers were able to hold off the Magic for the four point victory.  The Lakers are now 4-2 on this 9 game road trip.
