At the all star break the Detriot Pistons were as hot as can be winning 10 in a row and last night they wanted to make it 11 playing at home. The Magic seemed to have taken over the game in the 2nd and 3rd quarter by scoring 32,31 which normally in a Detriot Pistons defense that doesn’t happend. Slam Dunk Champion Dwight Howard only scored 8 points but the rest of the Magic were able to get off. There were 5 Magic players that scored in double figures lead by Rashard Lewis who had 20. The high man for the Pistons was back up shooting guard Rodney Stuckey with 16 lead all Pistons in scoring.”I certainly didn’t foresee that happening,” Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. “A lot has to go right for us to beat the Pistons like that, especially on a night when Dwight Howard scores eight points and Hedo Turkoglu goes 4-for-13.”
