Can anyone direct me to a detailed bio of this great woman. My daughter chose her as the person to profile for Black History month and sadly this is the most info I can find. She is amazing and inspiring and we would like to know a little more about her life before the team and how she came to aquire the team. Thanks.

Good evening mikasmom, thanks again for your comment/question. She was able to become the GM/CEO through the International Baskeball Leaques’ expansion process in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Check this out. Ms. Levi Scott is a scam artist - while she deserves her props of becoming the first African American Woman of the IBL - if you do a little research, you will find that she has left several investors high and dry with no return on their money. She is being sued by different individuals for non payment of services and she treats her players like dirt, including not feeding them if they lose the game.
I’m not trying to shoot down her game, I just want to make sure it’s all being kept real when it comes the reality of the way she does business. It’s a shame that she does, but make sure you do your homework and have your children to real research before they highlight someone who doesn’t represent women and/or African American’s very well.

It is funny when a sister is doing well that there is always a hater in the bunch. I know alexis personally and she treats her players like family. She continues to place players in the NBDL League, International Teams and more.
Her investors are really happy and will be receiving a big payoff in 2009 so someone doesn’t have their facts right. Its sad when a player gets released that they always want to hurt the one who extended a hand even when they were not qualified to play at this level.
I am a fan and supporter of Alexis Levi because I know for a fact that these accusations are from someone who was dismissed from the team.

Unfortunately, From the Town is on point. My family and I have been burned financially by Ms. Levi trying to help keep her team on the road last season. I found a posting on a sports web site that came directly from her former Las Vegas Stars coach that supports the negative, but true, statements made by From the Town. By the way, where is her team on the 2009 IBL schedule? You be the judge! Maybe From the Town came out better being dismissed as opposed to being unpaid.
