The Big Aristotle Is Out For Two Weeks

Could this be the signs of the times with Shaquille O’Neal?  He will have to miss two weeks due to a recurring pain in his left hip and leg.  He will miss at least six games and may not be able to return until Feb. 6 against Detroit.  O’Neal suffered the injury while diving for a loose ball in the game against Utah, but against Cleveland he had to leave in the first quarter due to the pain.  He is averaging a career-low with only 14 pts per game this season.  I know you are asking yourself who will step in at  center since Zo and Shaq are out with injuries?  Well, there is the most likely choice in Mark Blount but Joel Anthony and Earl Barron are also on the Heat’s roster at center.  Only time will tell for this sad, sad story of the Miami Heat.  They are the worst team in the Eastern Conference and they have the worst record at 8-32.
