Marion Jones Gets Six Months !!!
Ex olympic champion Marion Jones has been sentence to 6 months in federal prison. Jones has denied for years that she was on enhanced drugs, but the balco mess had her name attached all over it and when the Feds try to get and answer Jones lied and due to not telling the truth Jones will get six months.
“My passion in life has always been my family,” Jones said. “I know the day is quickly approaching when my boys ask me about these current events. I intend to be honest and forthright … and guide them into not making the same mistakes.” Jones must report for federal prison no later than March 11 2008.

so sad….such a great talent wasted over nothing, I hope she will teach her sons about the danger of drugs and not to follow in her foot steps

My heart and prayers go out to this beautiful young olympic champion.
She is one of many who have been preyed upon by the prestige of winning, and others that intend to do malice.
How many professional male athletes of European descent have been treated in such manner with overwhelming evidence to corroborate their misgivings with enhancing substances.
In no way, is Ms. Jones innocent, yet at-the-same time their seems to be quite a harsh treatment of this young mother who happens to be a woman of African descent.
I have empathy for Ms. Jones as I am Belizean-American. I was quite inspired by her passion and physicality (enhanced?).
Marion, if you happen to read this. Keep you head up. You have so much to be thankful, and this too shall pass. Peace, love, and blessings to you and your family.
