Heading South???
January 22, 2008 |

The New York Giants Defensive Cordinator Steve Spagnuolo is now the hot talk for the Atlanta Falcons. Spagnuolo defense has been the talk of the NFL playoffs this season by beating Tampa Bay, Cowboys and the Packers. The Falcons who have had a hard time in having a top person heading the organization now believes that Spagnuolo can be the one to get the Falcons back to respectability. Talks will not happened with the Falcons and Spagnuolo until after the Super Bowl when Spagnuolo tries to do the impossible and that is come up with a defense to beat the unbeatean Patriots.

I don’t know much about this guy. I do know that the NY Giants are loaded in the front 7 on defense. How good of a coach does all this talent make the coordinator? Thats always the million dollar question as great players make a coach look good and vice versa.
Scotty he is the best that is out there for young team like the Falcons. Scotty give me another coach that the Falcons should be looking at?
Whats up Harry. Not knocking spagnulolo i just dont know anything about him. My top guys would be Mike Singletary, Russ Grimm, or Rex Ryan. Now granted Rex Ryan (def coordinator for bal) has had a ton of talent also, but I love the aggressive style he took from his dad (buddy ryan). He also seems to be a players coach (by all accounts his guys in baltimore love him and i think ATL needs somebody with some people skills). I would still like to see singletary get a shot though
