Garrard Steps Up- Jaguars 31 Steelers 29 !!!
The Jacksonville Jaguars came in as the favorite by 3 points due to all the injuries the Steelers had the Jags was supposed to come in Hinez Field and pull of the playoff road victory.
The Steelers jumped out to a 7-0 lead. Maurice Jones Drew on a kick off ran it back 96 yards and set the Jags for a score tying touchdown 7-7. Jaguars scored two more touchdowns in the second quarter and gave the Jags a big lead 21-7. The third quarter the Jags scored another touchdown by Jones Drew who ran it in from 10 yards and helped the Panther build a 28-10 lead. The never say die Steelers came back with a furry. Santonio Holmes caught a 37 yard pass to cut into the Jags lead at 28-17. David Garrad the Jags QuarterBack who only threw three interceptions this whole season threw a second one and this was costly it help set up the Steelers for there next touchdown a 14 yard pass to Heath Miller. The score 28-23. The Steelers completed the turn around in the 4th quarter with a score again by DavenPort a 1 yard run the Steelers had the lead 29-28. David Garrad had to make a play bottom line he threw two interceptions and put his team behind the eight ball so now he had to step up and show what type of leader he really is. Garrad on a 4th and 2 under 2 minutes step his way into NFL playoff history with a 32 yard scramble and help put the Jags in excellent field goal range Josh Scobee kicked a 25 yard field goal and with the win the Jags moves on to the next round.
