Don’t Sleep
December 18, 2007 |
Yes, BC a woman who stands behind her word. When we first did our NBA show, I picked the Portland Trail Blazers as my sleeper pick. Even without rookie star Greg Oden, last years Rookie of the Year Brandon Roy is still holdin it down for the Blazers. They have won eight in a row and they have not done that since 2002-03.
In their game against the New Orleans Hornets, Roy had 24 points and eight assists in their 88-76 win Monday night. Martell Webster had 13 points and Steve Blake had 10 points for the Blazers. The Blazers are 13-12 and are third in the Northwest Conference right behind Utah. A lot of people had counted Portland out because of the whole Oden situation, but don’t sleep on this team, they may be one to watch.

Yes you did and that was a ballsy pick even without Greg Oden. I feel the same way I think in 2-3 years they will be a serious contender in the West.
G.Oden is 49 yrs old. They won’t win banking on him.
