The Mavericks are hoping to win five straight against the Spurs and the Spurs are looking to remain undefeated at home on tonights game. This is a big game for both teams. They are Southwest Division rivals and the Spurs are leading this division so far with 15 wins to the Mavericks 12. One key factor will hurt the Spurs tonight and that is the centerpiece of the Spurs Mr. Tim Duncan

They will be without nine-time All-Star Duncan due to a bruised right knee and sprained right ankle. The Spurs feared it was a serious knee injury, but MRI results came back negative Monday. The Spurs will have to turn to Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker to make up for Duncan’s absence.

The Mavericks can’t be out done either, Josh Howard has had his third double-double in six games with 27 points and 10 rebounds. He also recorded a season-high six assists. The Mavs have beat the Spurs already this season on Nov. 15th. Lets see if they can do it again tonight.
