The days of the Knicks Vs. Lakers being and big time event are long gone.  The Knicks who this season before they played the Lakers are 10 games under .500 and the Lakers have been fighting to get back to championship status but in a tough western conference the Lakers have been strugling to be a big time winner.

Kobe Bryant had 39 points and with that became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 20,000.  Bryant had 11 rebounds also to add with the 39 points during the game you can see Bryant during the game having a good time talking to Spike Lee and Chris Rock.  “I always like playing here, period,” Bryant said. “Last year I didn’t have an opportunity to play and I was upset about it. This is my favorite arena to play in so I’m just happy and relieved that I was able to play tonight.”  The New York crowd also was cheering for Bryant as he and the Lakers handed the Knicks there 19th lost of the season.
