Record Breaker- Patriots Beat Giants 38-35!!!
The talk all week was will the Giants play the 15-0 Patriots tough? The answer is Yes, but the bad news for the Giants is the Patriots also was playing with all there starters, so if the Giants was going to pull off the upset they was going to have to beat the Pats at there best.
The game started off with such a playoff feel to it. The Giants struck first and took a 7-0 lead then the Pats got a field goal and it was 7-3 both teams battled hard like no tomorow. The Giants took the lead at the half 21-16. The Giants took a 28-16 lead and then you started to see why the Patriots were seen as the best team of all time. Lawrence Moroney took it in from 5 yards out and the Pats were down 28-23 and now it was Randy Moss who caught his record breaking 23rd touchdown pass which he passed Jerry Rice and with the touchdown pass Tom Brady now has 50 for the season which also a NFL record which was held by Peyton Maning. The Pats after they scored went for a two point conversion made it and had the lead 38-28. The Giants scored late with a TD pass to Plaxico Buress to make a 38-35. Tom Brady went 32-42 for 356 yards and 2 TD’s, Eli Manning 22-32,251 Yards 4 TD’s and 1 interception. The Pats end with a perfect season 16-0. The Giants end thier regular season at 10-6, so if this is any indication on how the post season is going to be I can’t wait.
